Now is the time to start paying attention to the spread to bullion. Example, last year if one bought a numismatic gold coin for the same price as they could have purchased 3 ounces of bullion they could now trade the numi in for 3.8 or so ounces of bullion. When it gets close to double....trade 'em and smile.

You've just doubled the size of what the stash would have been had you bought bullion coins originally.

Now about those MS66 Morgans you also bought.....

I was over at NG Precious Metals this morning.

Very few people are selling and lots of people are buying!

They wanted $495.00 for Eagles and they had no Maples in stock and they had only a few Krugerands for sale.

People are coming out of the woodwork now to buy gold!

I am going to start checking with my other local dealers in hopes of getting better prices.

If it gets real bad around here we may have to mail order thru Apmex.
Paper Trails... Yuk!

We have a big coin show coming up this month over at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Oct 22-23

Don't expect gold to go down in price between now and then though.

$495 Eagles, that's a penny less than Kitco. Have you ever dealt with any of the other local dealers? I've heard that Scotia bank in Canada sells the Leaves. Next time I'm up there I'll see if that's true.
